We’ve partnered with the prestigious Cowdray Estate to bring you a captivating afternoon tea, inspired by our latest Eau de Parfum, Celest.

Influenced by the timeless rituals that have shaped perfumery through the ages, Celest weaves soft, golden top notes of bergamot and chamomile with warm honey heart notes, and velvety, rich base notes of opoponax and musk.

Developed by our expert perfumers and the Cowdray Estate’s skilled pastry chefs, every detail of the Floris x Cowdray afternoon tea reflects Celest’s signature notes, creating a sensory experience that brings the fragrance to life through sumptuous sweet and savoury creations.

Cucumber sandwiches, the traditional mainstay of all afternoon teas, are given a delightful twist with zesty bergamot cream cheese, while delicious drizzle cakes are infused with the distinctive flavour of Earl Grey tea.

Celest’s energising and herby top notes are honoured by mouth-watering lavender shortbread, which grows in the herbaceous borders on the estate.

Celest’s richness is captured with a luxurious goat’s cheese, walnut, and honey savoury delight, served on crispy sourdough croûtes.

An abundance of fresh flavours cut through the sweetness, with an opulent chamomile and passionfruit meringue tart and almond and raspberry layer gâteau providing a truly fruity respite.

The deep, rich base notes of Celest have inspired a selection of comforting and indulgent treats, including roast beef and horseradish sandwiches, herb and moss sausage rolls, and English honey and thyme cream panna cotta.

And of course, an afternoon tea wouldn’t be complete without a warm scone, fresh from the oven. Cowdray’s lavish brown butter, honey, and vanilla scones are served with lashings of clotted cream and homemade balsamic strawberry jam.

The Cowdray Estate, a stunning 16,500-acre estate, is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park near Midhurst in West Sussex.

The estate consists of a farm and woodland, as well as an 18-hole golf course, polo club, and the magnificent heritage ruins, which date back to the Tudor era.

The Floris x Cowdray afternoon tea takes place in the intimate walled garden. This is a charming and picturesque area where you can enjoy scones and sandwiches in the summer sunshine, surrounded by lavender, roses, and cascading cherry blossoms.

Afternoon tea is always a delightfully decadent experience, and this afternoon tea invites guests to immerse themselves in a unique world of flavour and fragrance.

The Floris x Cowdray afternoon tea is available between 11.30am and 3.30pm on Sunday 13^th, Saturday 19^th, and Wednesday 23^rd September at the Cowdray Estate.

Tickets cost £45 for adults and £16 for children.
