White Rose was originally created in the early 1800s. It was crafted at our Jermyn Street shop in London by Mr John Floris. The fragrance was a favourite of Florence Nightingale.

She had bottles shipped out to her while nursing in the Crimea war. You can read a treasured letter from Florence in our Jermyn Street shop, where it is on display. In the letter, she expresses her gratitude to Mr Floris and her favourite fragrance, White Rose.

Since 2020, Floris has partnered with the Florence Nightingale Foundation as a proud sponsor of their tremendous work. We donate 15% of all sales of White Rose Eau de Toilette 100ml to the foundation.

By buying a bottle of White Rose you are helping to support nurses and midwives around the UK.

    Really like this one. A little different from the others I have tried, almost from a bygone time, but so timeless and elegant! May be a serious contender, once I have tried some more!

    Gorgeous

    I adore this scent! Sometimes I wear it during the day but I spray it on my bed linen every night - it is so refreshing and relaxing that I fall asleep so wonderfully and swiftly!

    A Perfect Instrumentation for a Common Scent

    The must have side kick for after a bath before bed, lazy days at home, or just wanna feel clean as I work from home. It’s hard to find a rose scent that doesn’t smell too artificial and this one hits it on the nose. I feel enveloped by my favorite place in Los Angeles when I’m wearing this, the Huntington Gardens.

    I’ve heard rumors Elizabeth II wore this if you needed any other reason to add to your collection other than it being just perfect.

    This beautiful floral scent reminds me of years gone by. Perfect to take the small sprays in your handbag.
