The Future of Fragrance: Celebrate National Fragrance Week 2026
Monday 16 th March to Sunday 22 nd March is National Fragrance Week.
This annual celebration of scent, established by the Fragrance Foundation UK, commemorates the artistry, craft, and skills of those in the fragrance industry.
It’s the perfect opportunity to find out more about your favourite perfumer and perhaps discover a brand-new fragrance.
Floris London: Future-Facing, Yet Steeped in Tradition
This year’s theme is one that we’re very excited about: The Future of Fragrance.
In the words of the Fragrance Foundation, this theme “examines how fragrance is evolving across key pillars,” and the aim of the week is to “inspire, energise, and reaffirm why this is such a dynamic and positive moment to be working in fragrance.”
At Floris London, we pride ourselves on our rich history. Founded in 1730, we received our first Royal Warrant in 1820, and sold fragrances to Florence Nightingale, Oscar Wilde, and Winston Churchill.
Even today, we create all our fragrances using the same antique glassware we did three centuries ago.
However, as a business, we look to the future and are constantly evolving to provide the best products and services for our valued customers.
We prove that it’s possible to embrace the traditions of the past, while welcoming everything the future brings.

Sample One of Our Best Sellers
National Fragrance Week is a fantastic time for experimentation and discovering a new scent for you or a loved one.
If you’re new to Floris, a great place to start is our best sellers; our most well-loved scents which have stood the test of time. Here are four of our favourites to get you started.
No.89
As quintessentially English as James Bond, cricket, and a roaring log fire in a countryside pub, No. 89 is one of our most popular scents.
Named after our shop on Jermyn Street, this masculine scent combines crisp top notes of bergamot and orange with a warm dry down of sandalwood, cedarwood, and oakmoss.
White Rose
Modern, light, and bright, White Rose is easy to wear and the ideal scent to take you from day to night.
Heart notes of fragrant rose combine with fresh iris, drying down to soft, clean powdery notes of musk and amber.
A favourite of Florence Nightingale, today we partner with the Florence Nightingale Foundation, with 15% of all sales of White Rose Eau de Toilette 100ml supporting nurses and midwives all across the UK.
Limes
Invigorating, citrusy, and clean, with a robust musk dry down, Limes is our definitive summer scent.
Our oldest fragrance, Limes was created in 1790 by Juan Floris to combat the arid heat of London. This fragrance will make you yearn for summer BBQs and warm, balmy holiday nights.
Elite
Earthy and woody yet fresh and herbal, Elite is a striking scent that’s been a classic ever since it was launched in the 1980s.
Spicy juniper berries and refreshing grapefruit combine with aromatic bay and rugged leather to create a fragrance that’s one of a kind.
